model photography workshop
What do you need to focus on when you build a large-scale interior model to achieve an atmospheric image that connects to the thesis of your design? The workshop was designed to help students create truly atmospheric images of large-scale interior models by focusing on the defining moments that convey the essence of the design. It aimed to guide them in exploring how to direct the viewer’s gaze through a space, highlighting transitions of light, movement, and spatial experience—from outside to inside, bright to dark, and bottom to top. Students were encouraged to work from rough forms to more detailed scenes, considering how small details could bring personality and life to each moment. The workshop also emphasized the role of natural light in lending authenticity and revealing new perspectives to help students communicate the atmosphere and central ideas of their designs.
